UNIBRIDGE CLUB RULES

►ZERO TOLERANCE for rude comments or behavior to TDs, partner or opponents.

►It is MANDATORY to announce in all rounds SYSTEM, LEADS and CARDING. Call TD to table when announce NOT MADE and STOP BID. If Announce not made SAYC Std must be assumed.

►UNDOs are available and fair. MANDATORY to accept UNDOs in case of clear MISCLICKS. If you feel that there is a damage due to the UNDO you can call the TD at the table but we will be very happy if you play this tournament in a friendly way and allow UNDOs because most of the time it is a true misclick. UNDOs for correction of errors are not appropriate and SHOULD NOT be requested.

►PSYCHES are NOT ALLOWED in any seat. In 3rd seat is allowed to open a hand at level 1 with a KING VALUE under 12 points.

►If you self alert your bid with the name of a CONVENTION, please explain clearly the meaning if opps ask.

►SUBBING POLICY: Any member has the right to have his seat back if rejoin in same round or very quickly.

►If you need to ask something to your opponents, please use the PRIVATE CHAT instead of the TABLE CHAT.

►All systems allowed except BROWN STICKER or HUM.

►If at some point during a tournament a player loses his/her connection, the partner of the missing player must immediately call at the table the TD (by pressing the usual button) who will find a prompt substitution.

►Bids MUST BE ALERTED before being entered. In such way, the left hand opponent knows about the alert before making his/her bid. If you don’t alert before sending your bid, your opponent may think that your bid is natural, make his/her bid, then see the Alert and legitimately ask for an UNDO in case the information changes his/her perspectives. This may lead to unauthorized information. Thus, you need to   click the Alert button before entering your bid. Also, during this procedure it is very important to include the explanation in the proper box. Players are not allowed to click on an unalerted bid of the opponents in order to have more information. If they want information, they can privately ask the opponent (by chat). The reason is that it is important to avoid any possible UI between partners. If you note this please call the TD that will explain this rule to the opponents (BBO software allows this but it could lead to some issues).

►The TD can be summoned to a table as soon as attention is drawn to an irregularity.

►Please ALERT and explain with FULL DISCLOSURE all conventional bids. FAILURE to do so might eventually result in ADJUSTED boards.

►Mandatory to alert Stayman if made interest in Majors. Allowed to open NT with A or K singleton and allowed to deviate +/- 1 point.

►No DUMMY CLAIMS allowed.

►Playing online has the same RULES as PLAYING LIVE WITH SCREENS. Please use same ALERT POLICY of WBF.

►Do NOT CHAT with your partner during BIDDING and PLAY. If you must please use only ENGLISH.

►If you feel opponents are PLAYING SLOWLY, NOTIFY the TD during the ROUND, not AFTER.

►Poker bids and crazy redoubles that can disrupt normal scores will NOT BE ACCEPTED and board will be ADJUSTED. We are playing in a SERIOUS Bridge Club.

►Is a TIMED EVENT, so please BID and PLAY promptly and accept VALID CLAIMS.

►If you INTENTIONALLY DISCONNECT or are BADLY BEHAVED after a bad board, you will be EXCLUDED from the Club.
